What you can see and do in Mezbano depends on your role in a store, whether you own the brand, and what the store’s plan includes. A plan without a feature hides its pages even from people whose role would allow them. Store roles build up from member to admin to owner. Owning the brand, or working for Mezbano, is separate and can give owner-level access to a store.

Store roles
Owner
The most access to a store. An owner can do everything an admin can, plus the most sensitive money controls: reopening a closed month, deleting entries such as sales and expenses while their month is open, and, in Store settings, renaming the store and changing its sales channels and expense items. Only an owner can make someone else an owner or change an owner’s access.
Admin
Runs the store day to day: entering and changing sales, expenses and hours, reading the reports, closing a month and downloading CSV files. Admins can also manage the team and set the store’s time zone and currency, within the checks on each action. They cannot reopen a closed month, delete entries, or change the owner-only settings.
Member
The role for the team working in one store. Members see Today and can run checklists, temperature checks and kitchen prep where the store has them. On the entry pages a member can add sales, expenses and hours, and change only their own entries, for the store’s current business day while its month is open. The business day runs until 04:00 the next morning, so a closing shift can still enter the night after midnight.
Members can’t see Profit and loss, Close the month or Menu costs, can’t close a month or download financial CSV files, and can’t change the team or the store’s settings.
Franchise owner
A franchise owner has owner-level access to every store in their brand and looks after what the brand shares with its stores: recipes, ingredient prices, checklists and starter packs. Someone who owns a single store sees the label “Owner”; the label “Franchise owner” appears when the brand has more than one store.
Mezbano support
Mezbano’s platform administrators have owner-level access for running the platform and for
support. Every change is recorded under the person who actually made it. When an administrator
deliberately uses the impersonation feature to see the app as you do, the session is marked, and
the record of each change keeps the administrator’s name in impersonatedBy instead of showing it as yours alone. The security page explains what these
