Mezbano has a free 14-day trial, with no card needed, for the Starter and Pro plans. It is open only while public pricing, sign-up and self-serve setup are all switched on. Mezbano switches those on and off, so the trial may be closed while we roll out. The Franchise plan and the founding rate have no self-serve trial; founding accounts are set up and billed by their account manager.
Common questions
Is there a free trial?
Yes, when public pricing is on and sign-up and self-serve setup are open. Choose Starter or Pro, create an account and finish setting up your restaurant: that starts the trial. You don’t need a payment card or a Stripe account for it. If the trial is closed, request a demo instead.
How does payment work?
Billing lives on the brand’s pages, under Settings, for the brand’s owner. When Stripe is set up for your account, Choose a plan lists the plans; choosing one opens Stripe’s secure checkout. After that, Manage billing opens Stripe’s billing page, where you change your card, switch plan, get invoices or cancel. Mezbano keeps Stripe’s references to your customer record, plan, invoices and payment state; your full card details stay with Stripe. If Stripe isn’t set up, the Billing page says that your account manager handles billing, instead of showing a payment button that doesn’t work.
The Billing page shows your plan and its payment state: Free trial, Paid up, Payment failed, Paused or Cancelled. During a free trial it also shows the exact date and time the trial ends, in your stores’ time zone, and the days left.
What happens when a trial ends?
A trial that hasn’t been paid for pauses the account at the exact moment it ends, the same time the trial-ending email and the Billing page show. While an account is paused, everything stays and you can still look at and download what your plan included, but you can’t add or change anything. When Stripe is connected, signed messages from Stripe and a scheduled check also keep the plan’s state up to date.
Will a founding rate change?
A founding account’s billing is handled by your account manager. The Billing page doesn’t offer Stripe checkout or Stripe’s billing page for it, so public pricing and trial changes never quietly replace its plan.
